The Membership Advisor
Membership is one of the most important functions of any DeMolay chapter. The chapter must have a workable membership program under the guidance of a competent membership advisor. The membership advisor should become thoroughly familiar with DeMolay International’s membership program and seek ways to adapt its programs to their own chapter.
Membership Advisor Responsibilities
Report to the advisory council on the progress of the membership efforts.
Aid the councilors to develop membership recruitment strategies and incentive programs. With the chapter, develop a member and parent orientation program.
Strategies to being the membership advisor
Be knowledgeable about DeMolay so you can talk to young men and their parents about it.
Develop a buddy system for new brothers.
Develop a welcome kit that includes contact info and links for the chapter.
Get new brothers engaged.
