The jewel is suspended from a red grosgrain ribbon. It consists of a wreath of laurel leaves done in brushed yellow gold, superimposed upon which is a crown in brushed yellow gold. The base of the crown is decorated with white enameling and the top of the crown with enameling of red, yellow, light blue, white, and deep blue. Suspended from the wreath is a flat-type DeMolay emblem done in brushed yellow gold and in red, white, and blue enameling.
