The pin is a three dimensional DeMolay emblem of silver. It consists of a five armed or pentagonal white enameled cross, in the center of which is a circlet in silver. In the center of this circlet superimposed on a background of blue enameling is a silver crescent surrounded by ten bright silver stars. The cross is superimposed on the crown forming a part of the DeMolay emblem. It is surrounded by five red rubies and five white pearls. Bisecting the emblem are two silver swords and at the top is a helmet of silver with the helmet facing left.
