The cordon is of yellow rayon. The tassels emerge from a fluted cone on either side of the jewel. The cords are held together by two rayon acorns. The jewel is oval in shape and is suspended between the two tassels. A band of burgundy enameling 1/4″ wide follows the oval perimeter of the jewel and is surrounded by a band of Florentine gold 1/16″ wide. Within the burgundy enameling in bas relief and Florentine gold is a representation of Jacques DeMolay. The jewel is a 2-1/4″ by 2″ oval.
