The Blue Honor Key is awarded to an active or Senior DeMolay for being the first-line signer for 10 new members initiated by the chapter. The key consists of a DeMolay recognition button superimposed on a rectangular background of blue enameling which is bordered in bright silver. Stars appearing on the blue background denote each multiple of ten petitions secured by the recipient. The key is 1-1/4″ long by 9/16″ wide, and is suspended from a blue grosgrain ribbon which has a clasp attached to the upper end of the ribbon, the ribbon is 1-1/2″ long by 1-3/8″ wide.
