Our Brand Guidelines
Since 1919, the Order of DeMolay has served as the premier youth fraternal organization in the world. Our values have not changed, but the way and how we promote them have. DeMolay has spread from a local club to a truly international organization. Consistent branding is important to enhance our public awareness.
Use these guidelines to help you and your Program, Chapter, or Jurisdiction share DeMolay with the world. As you continue to promote the DeMolay brand, refer to this document for our approved fonts, colors, images, logos, and more. This document serves as the official brand guidelines of DeMolay International. Please disregard all prior brand guidelines and replace them with this version.
Our Brand Purpose
Our brand reflects our DeMolay ideals and upholds our values of brotherhood.
Yet each of you, as a DeMolay, holds within your heart a flame, a beacon to guide you through the darkness. If you can make this light shine upon another, if you can reach into the innermost depths of his soul and set his flame afire, then therein lies the purpose of the Order of DeMolay and therein lies your purpose for living.

The Road Begins Here
The Road Begins Here. A call to action that members of DeMolay, advisors, parents, and supporters can all rally around. This campaign will energize the efforts of DeMolay in member recruitment, retention, and engagement through data-driven marketing to potential members and will instill pride throughout the organization.
The two campaign videos, Where & Different tell separate stories of the impact membership in DeMolay has on a young man involved in the organization. Use these videos to share the DeMolay story and spark conversation of where your own road began.
The campaign logo was developed with an authentic approach in mind. When working with the mark, ensure you are using the correct file format for the best possible execution of your project. The logo is provided as two file types: vector for large scale printing and raster, which is best for digital activations such as websites, social media, and video.
Best suited for print, apparel, and signage, the vector version (.EPS) provides the highest quality file format for large scale production.
The pixel format (Raster) is best for digital activations such as social media, video, and websites. It doesn’t scale as easily without distortion so keeping it on a smaller scale will help maintain the files quality.

What do I do if I have a specific brand need?
The DeMolay Service & Leadership Center can do everything they are able to to support your project. Some brand activations may not comply with existing brand standards, however.
What about older DeMolay brandmarks?
The DeMolay & Stars Lockup is the keystone of our visual identity. This logo, adopted in 2014, replaces all previous logos used by DeMolay International and its Jurisdictions as the corporate brand mark.

Championed by the collaboration between the leaders of DeMolay International and Scottish Rite, NMJ and its creative partnerships, the DeMolay International Campaign The Road Begins Here is an anthemic call to action for members, advisors, parents and supporters of DeMolay can all rally around.
This campaign set out to energize the efforts of DeMolay in member recruitment, retention, and engagement through data-driven marketing to potential members and will instill pride throughout the organization.
While this campaign uses video, design, print, and communication tools for engagement, the success lies in the hands of the members and advisors of the Chapters, Jurisdictions and organization as a whole as we continue to be the premier leadership organization for young men.
